Sequoia Field Fancy aka “Duchess”. 141.6 / 14h LHC 9yo heterozygous mare, CHAPS/BSPA registered. FIS and PSSM negative. Green to the ring but proving very reliable and sensible when out and about. Qualified for Sunshine Tour on first outing.

Can turn her hoof to dressage or showing. Hacks alone (occasionally has a little look but nothing silly) or in company, first or last. Turns out with mares or geldings. Good to load, bath, shoe, catch, clip (hates her chin being done). This mare is a turbo cob who is a fun and eager ride, not for novices and she is strong but never nasty, she just likes her work.

A wonderful character to have on the yard who is easy to handle and great company. Will come with 3 saddles (dressage/show/GP), 3 bridles (dressage/show/everyday) and an extensive wardrobe!!

It is time for my daughter to take over the reins with her new pony now and allow me to have a bit of a break.

Oliver - Such a special pony! 13.3h 8yo Welsh x Cob gelding.

Always good to handle and look after. Loves a bottom scratch! Good to load, farrier, clip, catch etc.

Rides well in the school and will easily ride in a nice outline/contact if asked. Responsive without being sharp - he goes when asked and stops when asked. Snaffle mouth and not silly or fizzy.

Loves jumping and is bold and brave. Schooled around 80/90 with ease and always willing. We’ve done a few arena hires - both show jumping and arena eventing so he’s more than ready to get out to competitions & Pony Club. Would love to see him out competing & doing some showjumping, PC eventing/Hunter trials but he’s equally as happy playing around at home!

Hacks out sensibly and good in traffic. Can sometimes need reassurance leaving the yard and tries to come back home but once out he is fine and when hacked regularly he is fine too - just needs to get used to the routine!

Would love a competent, second pony rider that wants to enjoy him as he really is a cool pony!

Harvey is my homebred cremello gelding who was born unintentionally on October 9th so is younger than his years describe.

His sire, Jebeth Milkyway has won many championships under saddle and was placed 4th at HOYs and 3rd at the Royal Welsh show.

Because of my personal circumstances Harvey's education has not progressed so he really is a blank canvas.

However, he has been stabled and turned out daily all this year and is really good to handle. He has a respectful yet bold temperament with a spanking walk, lovely conformation and action and could make an excellent dressage pony or who knows what else!

He has loose jumped small obstacles in the school without blinking!

Though he is registered as a Welsh section D he has measured as just under 13.2h so he could be transferred down to Section C if it suited his new owner.

14.2hh 9 year old Blue and White Irish cob x gelding

George is a fun little pony looking for his next family to go out and have enjoyment . Good in open spaces & good when left if others canter off, good on the beach. He has previously hunted and done unaffiliated SJ and ODE's, snaffle mouthed in all phases. Regularly at Somerford & Kelsall. Needs a confident rider as can be spooky, so no novices please. Hunting home preferred as this is where he excels.

No world beater but happy to do a bit of everything. He will live in or out. He is good to shoe, bath, catch, turnout and rug up. He will hack out alone and in company, will also lead from bigger hunt horses. Good to load and travel on any type of lorry and will stand all day. Occasionally used to nanny the bigger horses at shows. He does need sedation to clip.

Was ridden by a fourteen year old girl all last summer. For sale due to no rider available now.

Monarch jump cob saddle and bridle, and a small selection of rugs by separate negotiation.

Sally is sadly for sale as she is wrongly placed with her current novice owners. She is a livery with us and my 3 children all ride her, including my 9 Yr old daughter who has schooled her over 90cms. She has competed show jumping at 70cm, and cross country at 70cm-80cm. She is easy to take out and about

Sally is a pony which great potential, who would excel in the right home. She is a kind pony, but being a mare does need to know who is boss.

She is a 2nd pony, who is suitable for a competent child or small adult. She is not suitable for a 1st ridden or those just moving into 2nd ponies.

Sally will hack alone or in company. Good with traffic, teeth, loading, clipping etc.

  • Piebald Gelding, 13.1, 8 years Traditional Cob
  • Huge potential in all disciplines
  • A totally genuine, well mannered, super looking cob

Jasper was a late starter but has the most fabulous attitude and temperament for his work. He was professionally broken last year and has come on in leaps and bounds. He is working nicely on the flat and has great scope and technique over a fence. He scored well in his first Intro dressage test qualifying for the Amersham Championships. He has been show jump and cross country schooling, which he loves, and has been placed in all his show jumping competitions to date. Jasper is always ridden by children but also takes an adult if required.

He has super paces, moves straight and would also be suitable for showing. His temperament is second to none. Totally safe and trustworthy to be handled and ridden by children at all times. He is super well mannered at shows, stands and waits his turn on the lorry with no issues. He is excellent to load and travel in a lorry or trailer, on his own or with company.

Jasper is great to catch, comes straight to you. Hacks out alone or in company in all traffic, good with the farrier. Is currently barefoot but could be shod if required. Lives out with others and can be stabled, on his own if necessary.

Jasper has huge potential in all disciplines. A totally genuine, well mannered, super looking cob. Ideal for all the family, mum and children to share.

No vices, no health issues. Vaccinated.

Jasper is a much loved pony and it is hoped that he will find the super knowledgeable family home that he deserves.

Lots of photos and videos available.

Heartbreaking decision - DD is currently competing 80 tracks but jumping 90-1m tracks at home and out hiring places. DD is bold and brave with plenty of potential to excel in any discipline, And would definitely jump bigger with a smaller rider. DD is the type to jump anything you ask her to, and loves xc. Can be strong but that’s due to her loving life as she’s a very willing mare.

DD was broken late at the age of 6, she has now been there and done it all, dd is the type that would stand at a show all day long and not be bothered at all and eat her hay. DD has not yet hunted but has been on open fields with loads of horses. She would definitely love to hunt and isn’t phased by dogs at all. Good to hack alone and in company.

DD is easy todo in all ways, loads and travels like a dream alone or in company. Good for the farrier. DD will hack out alone and in company. DD has success at some Showing shows, and dressage competitions, She will turned out with geldings and mares and also alone. Never fights for food or to be first out the field

Used to tractors, large machinery ect.

Up to date with everything.

She is not a first pony as she’s a forward going. she is a good doer and a very honest mare. She isn’t marish at all, and is well behaved on yard and in stable.

Not a rushed sale and will only go to a 5* home.

Please contact +44 7306 538539 for more info!

Based West Sussex (near gatwick)

Very Honest reason for sale, jockey has unfortunately out grown the pony. Not a rushed sale, she will only go to the right home.

Ultimate all round Cob. Plenty of bone and Feather.

Phantom is the Ultimate Cob and competent child's pony. He is rising 7 but still young and learning and for that reason would be best suited to a knowledgeable home with an older sibling or small adult to continue his education.

He is NOT a first ridden. No nastiness or major vices but given the opportunity could try it on. Just not a plod along.

He loves to jump and has done all areas of this including SJ, Wh, Arena Eventing and XC. He excels in these and has been in the ribbons when competing in all of these events.

Great to hack in company, needs a slightly more confident rider on his own for the first few yards! Been to the beach, farm rides, always behaves impeccably. Used to farm traffic and animals.

Turns out with mares and geldings in groups and on his own. Currently stables at night in winter but has been out 24/7 in summer on restricted grazing. Doesn't change if left in or not ridden for a length of time.
Been to camps and doesn't change in behaviour.

Good to bath, clip, shoe etc. Can be slightly opinionated by stamping his front legs but always more than manageable. He is the ultimate character with his strange whinnies and little quirks.

Although good to handle he could try to take the micky if allowed.

Loads and travels no problem in trailer or wagon on own or in company and will stand happily all day.

For these reasons the ideal home would have an older sibling or small adult to hep continue his education and help with handling.

Home is of upmost importance and we would be more than happy for the potential purchaser to try him in a number of settings.

This is truly the hardest decision but my daughter is still growing and hes has so much to give to another family.

Any questions are more than welcome. We really do want the best for this amazing talented cob and any future homes will be vetted and references will be required.

Loads of videos available and references from instructors.

His price includes a full wardrobe of two saddles, bridle and bits, rugs and even trophy tails feather boots!

12.3hh cob mare companion

Ref #: 340540
£950 ONO

  • Mare
  • 11 years
  • 12.3 hands

My gorgeous girl is looking for her forever home, she has had a hard life before I found her, so finding the perfect home and person is extremely important to me and I’m in no rush at all. Homes will be vetted and I will not sell her unseen so please don’t ask.

I am looking for an experienced, kind and loving person who is offering a forever home where she can be a companion and a pet, I am not selling her as a ridden horse due to her past, I feel that she will be happiest being a pet.

She is 12.3hh, passported, microchipped, vaccinated, up to date with worming, teeth and farrier.

When she is settled and in a routine that she is happy with she is good to handle, will live in or out, comes to call, loves a fuss and is an absolute sweetheart. She has happily lived in all winter.

I’m looking for a very special person for my girl, it needs to be someone who is calm and consistent to give her the confidence that she needs. She is a very sensitive soul and does panic with change, so it needs to be someone who understands this and who is willing to hold her hand when she is struggling. Her insecurities are all down to her past life and in the year she has been with me she has come such a long way, I am now looking for someone to continue my quiet patient work to help her keep growing in confidence so she can finally live the life she deserves.

She did not travel well when she came to me and I haven’t travelled her since, I would prefer for her to go somewhere within or around an hour from us because of this and I am happy to cover the cost of having my vet come to sedate her so she can get to her new home safely.

When she is settled and happy she is such a lovely little lady and I know she is going to make someone very happy.

She is wary of men and needs a patient farrier but she is getting better with every trim and growing in confidence, she just needs to continue to have positive experiences with one and she will be fine with a little more time.

She currently turns out on her own but I do feel she would prefer to live with others. I do have another little mare also looking for a companion home and would be over the moon if they went together!

Finding her the right home is more important than price, but as said above homes will be vetted and I am in no rush, she will only leave me when I have found her perfect person and home. She is for sale only, sorry no loans.

£950 price is negotiable for the right home

Lily arrived into our care having been transferred from the RSPCA. She arrived completely unhandled but has taken time to settle at our centre and is doing extremely well.

She is a sweet curious baby with lots of potential. Lily now wanders over to start her training sessions with the team, she adores a scratch and finds this super positive! She can now be caught and has started leading, she will happily stand for a groom and have her feet picked out. She has seen the farrier too!

She has grown in confidence and curiosity and would thrive in a set up with someone who has lots of time to give her, ideally to live with other young ponies. Lily is happy to live with mares or geldings and has lived out 24/7 and part stables with company.

Lily is looking for a home as a potential child's ridden pony in the future once she has settled and matured. Due to her size she will most likely be a lead rein type and mature to around 12hh.

Perri is as striking coloured part bred Arab with top blood lines he is sure to make a super future pony for the new HOYS junior show classes.

He also is super balanced and obedient in his flat work already and I personally think he would be a great contender for the BD young dressage pony qualifiers.

He is one of the best nature ponies I have ever had the pleasure of producing he is super easy to do everything with he also hacks alone or in company still green with big traffic as he is only 4 years old and not seen heavy traffic yet.

He also shows great potential over a fence super willing and careful he has done two competitions under saddle he jumped double clear in his first jump competition to come 4th and also scored over 65+% in his first ever dressage test to finish 3rd.

This star of a pony deserves the best of home were he can continue his education and become the superstar he was born to be sad sale due to a change owners circumstances.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Forward, responsive, well schooled, mare, 8yrs. We’ve owned Duchess for a year.

She’s a lovely pony who has taught our daughter a great deal but she needs a committed, confident rider to have years of fun and we don’t have as much time as she deserves

He has recently been gelded but not riggy, has been turned out with mares and travelled back to ours with a mare either side of him no bother.

He would make a lovely ride and drive, or equally a nice low level all rounder/ school pony

Shelly the Shetland is a very gentle and sweet natured pony, she is a little shy in the beginning but once she gets to know you she’s a lovely girl.

She has been broken to ride. Sure she’ll be fine to drive as well.

Clean limbed and vice free. She can’t wait to meet her new loving family.

SUPER STUNNING PONY Great opportunity for someone looking to do a bit of everything.

Hardest decision to make for this one in a million boy, due to my daughter out growing him. Been in the same home for 2yrs and has brought us heaps of confidence and fun.

This very loved 12yr old, 13.3hh cob gelding is a great all rounder! Super safe, not spooky, quiet, forward going pony with breaks. Happy to do a bit of everything. He hacks alone and in company, he is well schooled and works nicely in a frame in all paces, jumps a small course of 60cm, with more frequent jumping could progress further in this area.He has also been xc schooled over small fences and been showing.

He is a beautiful gypsy vanner cob with very unusual splash markings. Gorgeous full mane/tail and feathers. Good conformation and has done very well in the show ring.

He is very honest and patient, enjoying liberty, bareback, tackless and lunging and much more. He is a very easy boy, perfect on the ground with great manners, good to catch, groom, clip, travel, dentist, farrier etc...and all up to date with vaccines & wormer etc. Never been sick or sorry. Vetting welcomed.

Looking for a lightweight, gentle rider as he is a forward going fun ride, not suitable for a novice.

All tack and rugs available, including superb professionally fitted new saddle bought only a week ago, bridle and rugs also available.

No time wasters or dealers, serious enquiries only. Will only go to a 5 star home, will be vetted. Pm me for more info and videos. Based in Hampshire, if local transportation can be offered by us.

Very reluctant sale of a much beloved pony. Ollie is the type you can entrust to his rider whilst sitting back and enjoying the experience and it has been a privilege to have him in our family. Our daughter does everything with him herself and he’d stay another year if not hopelessly outgrown. We had a waiting list for him last year all of whom have now found other rides – his type rarely come on the open market.

Ollie is incredibly willing and versatile – truly excels at dressage but also very capable jumping having taken our daughter from 50 to 90cm classes. He also loves XC although this is not something we’ve concentrated on, and has been a member of the PC games team (will run to vault or stand for stirrup). He’s also great to hack out and can be ridden tackless.

We’d like to find a decent little jockey for him who’ll ride him sympathetically. He will step up or down and build confidence - he’d be suited to a child who has already had a second pony in order to get the most out of him.

Well established lateral work including leg yield, rein back, simple changes, turns on the forehand and haunches and working on correct flying changes! Ollie would probably enjoy working equitation. Scores mid 70%’s prelim to decent 60s in recent elementary test.

Wins and qualifications are too numerous to list but include NSEA Hickstead and Addington champs in SJ, JWS and dressage, placing 3rd in inter county prelim final and 2nd in champs novice plate, along with winning the ride-off at PC grassroots final and qualifying for Barrier Spring Festival Novice dressage.

In previous homes he also excelled at WH, did extremely well RC dressage champs and has been in NSEA teams for various disciplines at championships many times and been on JWS winning team.

We are in touch with all three of Ollies previous owners and his previous jockeys have all touched base and share their equine journeys via social media.

He is excellent to handle, groom, shoe, load, bath, clip, etc.

Looking for a 5* home preferably on a private yard for this fabulous little pony where he will live a happy and varied life.

A full wardrobe will be included for Ollies next adventure.
